We are delighted to announce that Recheo Health Foundation recently organized a highly successful free medical eye screening event for over 50 pupils at Ola-Olu Primary School, Shomolu Local Government Area, Lagos State.
This initiative was undertaken as part of our ongoing commitment to promoting the health and well-being of children in our community.
The event, held on 23th May 2023, brought together a team of dedicated healthcare professionals and trained volunteers. Their collective effort comprehensive examination of each pupil's vision health. The primary objective of the medical eye screening was to identify any potential visual impairments or conditions among the pupils and provide appropriate interventions. Our team utilized advanced diagnostic equipment and conducted various tests to assess visual dual acuity, eye muscle coordination, and detect any signs of common eye problems. During the screening, the pupils and their teachers were given valuable information about maintaining good eye health and preventing visual disorders.
They were educated about the importance of regular eye check-ups, proper nutrition for healthy eyes, and the significance of protecting their eyes from harmful UV rays. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the management of Ola Olu Primary School for their enthusiastic support and cooperation throughout the event.
